3.       HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We retain Personal Information only as long as we have a legitimate business purpose to do so. These purposes may include retaining Personal Information in order to:

We obtain data from various third-party companies and public sources. We may combine that data with Personal Information or other data we collect. This enhances our existing data about our customers (like adding address information), improves our ability to contact you, and enhances our marketing capabilities.

                              ii.            Explanation: When you make a purchase online, we use a PCI-compliant payment processor, MiCamp Solutions (Privacy Policy | MiCamp Solutions) ("Payment Processor"), to help us facilitate payment.

B.      Source: Service Providers

                                i.            Purpose of Collection and Use: Business Purposes.

                              ii.            Explanation: We use service providers to process orders and provide delivery support. We use Shopify to manage our online store. Please see Shopify Privacy Policy to learn more about their privacy practices.

C.     Source: Analytics Providers, Market Research Companies

                                i.            Purpose of Collection and Use: Business Purposes.

                              ii.            Explanation: We may use third parties or service providers to help us understand the Site’s demographics and user preferences, and to evaluate the Site’s operations.

5.       Information We Collect Automatically Using Technology

We may receive Personal Information about you from third parties that provide services to us through or in connection with your use of the Site, including our web hosting providers. We may collect data about how you use (i) your online account, and (ii) the Site when you are logged into your account. 6.       USE OF DEIDENTIFIED OR AGGREGATE INFORMATION

We may aggregate Personal Information to create anonymous, aggregated data on users of our Site, which describes users as a group but does not reveal the identity of individual users. We may use aggregated data to understand users’ needs, determine user demographics and usage patterns, determine what kinds of products we can provide, and improve our products and the Site. We will not re-identify that Personal Information and other information once aggregated.

                                i.            Activities Related to the Purpose: To protect our legal rights or interests, or those of third parties; to bring a legal action against you or anyone who may be causing harm to us, our Site, or to other users of the Site; to seek business, financial or legal advice; and to respond to subpoenas, court orders and other legal processes.

8.       THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES

The Site may link to, or be linked to, websites not maintained or controlled by Kanva. Kanva is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third parties or any third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites or to any personal or other information that you may provide to third parties. You should read the privacy policy for each website that you visit.

9.       YOUR CONSUMER DATA CHOICES

                                i.            Update your Personal Information. You may update your Personal Information by contacting us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below or by contacting us at orders@kanvabotanicals.com.[A2] 

                              ii.            Delete Your Account. If you no longer wish to use the Services or access your account or account information, you may request that we delete your account by contacting us at orders@kanvabotanicals.com. This will result in the full, permanent deletion of your account and associated information. We will not be able to recover your account after it has been deleted.

                            iii.            Opt Out of Marketing Messages. If you sign up to receive marketing communications and materials, you consent to receive such communications at the location or contact information you provide.

                             iv.            Email. If you no longer wish to receive email marketing messages from Kanva, you should use the “unsubscribe” option in each marketing email we send or contact us using the information provided below. Within 10 days of receiving your unsubscribe request, we will remove you from our distribution list unless you re-subscribe.

10.   DATA SECURITY AND USER RESPONSIBILITIES

We use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures designed to help secure Personal Information against loss, misuse, and alteration appropriate to the type of Personal Information processed. WHILE WE STRIVE TO PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AND YOU PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11.   Access from Outside the United States

If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that Personal Information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. Certain governmental authorities may not consider the level of protection of Personal Information in the United States to be equivalent to that required by other jurisdictions. If you share your Personal Information when visiting the Site, you consent to the processing of that Personal Information in the United States.

12.   Access by Children

The Site is not directed at children under 18 (21 plus where applicable). We do not knowingly collect, use, or share Personal Information from children 18 or under. If a parent or legal guardian learns that their child provided us with Personal Information without his or her consent, please contact us, and we will make commercially reasonable attempts to delete such Personal Information.

13.    SHINE THE LIGHT

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, if you are a California resident, you have the right to obtain: (a) a list of all third parties to whom we may have disclosed your Personal Information within the past year for direct marketing purposes, and (b) a description of the categories of Personal Information disclosed, by contacting us at orders@kanvabotanicals.com.

14.   CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

As our organization changes over time, this Privacy Policy may change as well. We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any time, for any reason, without notice to you, other than the posting of the amended Privacy Policy on our Site. We will provide you with notice of material changes by indicating that the Privacy Policy has been updated on our homepage and will indicate the date we made the update above. Your continued use of any of the Site after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes. Therefore, please make sure you read any such notice carefully. If you do not wish to continue using the Site under the new version of the Policy, please cease using the Site.
